Arriving From Paris
The closet TGV (Fast Train) station from Paris is 30 minutes from the Chateau. It is Le Creusot (Montceau Montchanin).
High speed trains depart Paris (Gare De Lyon) every 2 hours and take only 1 hour 20 minutes to reach Le Creusot. This was one of the main reasons I chose this property. There are other regional trains but they are slower.
Driving from Paris takes approximately 3.5 hours. It is recommended that you book ahead if you are taking the train and that you update your driver's licence in your local jurisdiction to be an international licence if you intend to hire a car in France. NB: cars will be handy to run errands.
